02 / About us

ARK Resettlement Services.
People first.

At the end of 2024, we celebrated a decade of the ARK charity and its work with people leaving prison. Led by CEO Kingsley Bempah, we bring together accommodation and individually tailored support for those most at risk of reoffending. Our purpose is simple: to give people the opportunity to reintegrate, live independently and build better futures.

Your questions.
A starting point.

Every situation is different. If you are unsure where to begin, our team can discuss your enquiry.

Ask us a question

Who does ARK support?

We support prison leavers across London, particularly people most at risk of reoffending. Our work brings together accommodation, tailored resettlement programmes, mentoring and community support.

How do I make a referral?

Contact our team at referrals@arkrs.co.uk or visit our contact page to discuss a referral. We can talk through the person's circumstances and the next steps for an enquiry.

Can I ask about support for myself?

Yes, you can contact ARK directly to ask about our work. Tell us that you would like to discuss support, and we can talk about your circumstances and which programme may be relevant.

How can I find out about accommodation?

Read about ARKRS Housing, then contact us to discuss your needs, current availability and the referral process. An enquiry does not guarantee an accommodation placement.

Is resettlement support the same as counselling?

Resettlement support focuses on rebuilding life after prison, including accommodation, practical skills, mentoring and community connections. Counselling and clinical therapy address different needs. Speak with your GP or an appropriate health service about clinical care, and contact us to discuss ARK's resettlement programmes.

Can I volunteer or support ARK as an organisation?

We welcome enquiries about volunteering, partnerships and donations. Get in touch to tell us how you would like to be involved and ask about opportunities.
